WELCOME HOME!

When we arrived at the Johnson residence (where we'll be living) THIS adorable sign was hanging on the garage! It made us feel at home right away! THANKS GUYS!

Each of the kids told us which parts of the sign they had painted. Corinne explained that she had painted the pink because she thought I would like it. Then Lauren pointed out a blob (by the "L" in Lexi) that she had painted and after thinking about it for a while told us it was the color of "DUCT TAPE" - now that is an Alaskan girl for you!

We jumped right into the mix of things when we arrived. Linds and Haakon are putting in a yard, so Brett tried his best to help get things prepared while I started getting things organized in our room.

This is Brett, Linds and Haak (bottom of the hill) working one evening
around midnight - can you believe how light it is?

They had to get pretty creative sometimes
(the flash on the camera makes it look dark)

We have also had fun watching lots of SOCCER games! Uncle Brett got to help
Torsten during his "game" - they even made a few goals! It was pretty adorable to watch. Torst just runs around with a HUGE grin on his face!

IT'S GREAT TO BE WITH FAMILY!
