CRAZY HAIR!

I felt like I wanted to change my hair, so I decided I would go blond for the summer. Naturally, going from almost black to blond is going to take a few trips to the hair salon, but this is the first round! My sister-in-law's sister, Heather, is in hair school so I went to her to take on this feat. I have SO much unruly hair that at any given time there were 3 girls working on it!

After 6 boxes of bleach, MANY foils, 5 inch hair trim, and nearly 5 hours - we were done! They did a great job!! I'm sure they're really looking forward to the next time I come in. Poor girls!

Here's a bit of the process. I'll have to post a picture of the finished product soon. :)

Putting the foils in... 3 hours
TADA! Lookin' good! Haha!
Blowing my hair dry!

Thanks, Cute Heather!!

Ohh... I wish I could go blonde! Just because it's the total opposite of what I've always been. I'm afraid my hair would all fall out though, and I would look pretty funny! I love the foil pictures. Don't you just feel like an alien? lol!

okay, I am in shock! Why would someone with hair as beautiful as yours want to go blonde????? I am sure it will look beautiful because you ARE........ but still, if I could look good as a brunette I would do it in a heart beat. I would look like a freak. (I tried on a dark wig once, it was freakish, all white with freckles and no eyebrows..... yuck!)
I can't wait to see it all done. I am sure it won't be a platinum bottle blonde but...... hurry up and post!

1. U are insane to go black to blonde.
2. Your hair is always gorgeous.
3. My hair is thicker and more unruly than yours. promise you.
4. U are brave to go to a hair school.
5. You would look hot with pink hair...or any color hair...bc u are hot.

I know, I know, it's a bit of a shock. I'm actually not really sure how I feel about it yet. My once beautiful, healthy long hair is now FRIED and thicker because of the damage from the bleach, but I figure I've started so I better finish! I anticipate having to cute quite a bit off! Sometimes when I look in the mirror I get a little sad...but then I have to remind myself that's how I felt when I first started dying my hair dark brown. I have NO idea what my natural color is! Ha! I'll keep you all posted on the transformation!

What a teaser post!! Hurry up and post the after shots!! :o) I'm sure you can pull off whatever hair color you choose. I've tried brown and I look horrible. I've tried blonde and I look sick. So I stick with red- it's growing on me... literally. :o) I can't wait to see your new hair.
