Surprise Visit and Baby Ty!

Last Sunday I was at the hospital doing my pre-assessment for clinicals the next morning and I received a text from Brett that said, "Please come home. I miss you!" - It had only been a half hour since I left. Now I knowwhat you're all thinking CHEESY (or cute), sometimes for me the two are synonymous. It's not completely abnormal for Brett to say something so sweet, but that was pushing it a little. (I'll be honest, I don't deal with the mushy gushy very well). ANYWAY! He seemed excited about my return and on the drive home he checked in on me a few times to check my status. I didn't think too much of it...

I walk in the door and there are digital and video cameras pointing at me. I thought maybe I had won the Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes, but NO, it was BETTER - my sister and her two little boys had flown in from St. Louis for an unannounced visit and since I was the last to get home that evening the rest of the family was in on it! Tate yelled, "SUPRISE!!"- and that it was!

We had a fun week - busy as always but we were able to fit in a few outings and visits to Cafe Rio. We LOVE having Brooke and the boys around. They leave our house tomorrow morning - the house will be lonely without them around!





This evening my cousin, Pix, and her husband, Ry, came to visit with their new baby TY! He was such a cute little guy! We had a fun time catching up with them. We love when they visit! Come again soon, Worthens! :)



Dad and Aunt Sue are in California. I wrote up a "BUCKET LIST" with Aunt Sue and this was one of her goals - to go to Cali and visit cousins Jan and Eric. Hope they are having a great time! :)
