One of the perks of serving in Young Womens is getting the opportunity to go to GIRLS CAMP! I loved it as a youth and I love it NOW! Our girls were so much fun!

Brett was able to join us for two days as a visiting Priesthood holder. It was so much fun. The girls LOVED having him around.

After the hike we had a few small pools full of water warm water for the girls to soak their feet in. We had nail polish available for pedicures if they so desired. I walked into the pavilion to find THIS! The girls had given Brett a pedicure. They had even trimmed the hair on his feet. GROSS! They were so hilarious!
His toenails read "B-R-E-T-T- <3 - L-E-X-I"!
It's tradition at Girls Camp to do skits. For the leader skit we played on the events from earlier that day and got rid of all of the "hair" on Brett's feet, eyebrows, upper lip, ears, etc. in order to allow him to better follow the prophet, keep his sights on the temple, speak kind words, listen to the prophet, etc. (Hard to explain, but hopefully you get the idea.) He was such a great sport!

The hardest part about Girls Camp in Alaska is it NEVER gets dark at night in the Summer...which means the girls NEVER sleep! I had to catch a snooze here and there to keep up!
