While living in Alaska I worked at Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center. It was an incredible experience working with a very unique population of patients. I have enough crazy stories to write a book! At times it was a very frustrating and draining atmosphere, but what made it great was working with the amazing people that I did!
On my last day my coworkers threw a little going away luncheon. It was so sweet and I had an absolute BLAST!
Dr. Mraz - what a great guy! At the luncheon he cut and served the cake to everyone.
My Michelle! While at ANHC I worked with Dr. Rothoff almost exclusively and couldn't feel more LUCKY. She was such an incredible example to me. I absolutely adore her! Often patients thought I was her daughter or would get the two of us confused.
I'll never forget my first job as a nurse and the memorable people I met and experiences I had!
GOODBYE ANHC!
