Brett's Dad has spent the past several winters in Mexico. Brett and I had talked about going on a "BABYMOON" and thought it would be fun to visit Don in Mexico. We mentioned the idea to him and he was on board! We worked out the details and on March 16th we were headed to Mexico for a week. It was so nice to arrive at the airport and have Don and his girlfriend, Silvia, waiting for us. They had already found a little place for us to stay and after we unpacked our things we headed straight to the beach. It was such a blast seeing some of the places Don has talked about and shown us pictures of in the past. We filled our days playing at the beach, visiting markets, exploring the city and eating way too much! It was fun to have that time to spend with Don in a different setting than normal. Brett does not recall ever really "vacationing" with his Dad so he especially enjoyed their special time together.
