Haakon happened to have some business to attend to in Colorado around the same time Midge was visiting which worked out very nicely! On Saturday, Sept 24th, we picked Haakon up from the airport and headed to Red Rocks Park where he and Brett went biking. Midge and I visited a nearby town and walked down Main St. stopping in at the fun shops. Afterwards, the 4 of us walked up to Red Rocks Amphitheatre. WOW! It was pretty incredible. We hope to catch a concert there in the next 4 years.
That evening Haakon treated us to Cheesecake Factory in downtown Denver. YUMMMY!
It's always great to have family visit!
