I forgot to blog about a great day Leisl and I spent together a couple of months ago. We both had the afternoon off and wanted to do something fun and FREE. So we looked online and found a candy factory tour at Hammond's! The last tour was in about 20 minutes so we hopped in the car and drove as fast as we could, barely making it in time. When we got there the greeter said, "Just the two of you?" What else would two young women in their 20's do on an afternoon like this? We don't need the excuse of kids to indulge in a childhood dream. It felt like we were at Willy Wonka's chocolate factory!
One of the best parts, was that because we were the last tour of the day and the lady could tell we loved it so much she loaded us up with FREE candy!
