Halloween 2010

We had a fun Halloween this year. We started off the season by attending a carnival of sorts at Bear Valley Elementary where our nieces attend school. Brett and I dressed up as detectives (I think Linds might have pictures that I'll post later). On Saturday night the kids went to a Trunk or Treat and afterwards we went to a party at the Noble residence. It was lots of fun - GREAT food and great company. They even had a haunted maze in their basement. Brett and I dressed up as geeky 80's prom dates (again I think Linds has pictures).

Breathtaking, I know!

Linds is quite the artist, as you can see! Doesn't Lauren play the part well? She was even meowing as I took the pictures!

Caught red-handed!

On Sunday, Halloween Day, we planned a fun little dinner with witches brew, bat goop, bobbing for apples, witches fingers, magic potion etc. The kids were a little nervous about our selection. At one point Torsten said, "I'm allergic to witch fingers!" -- Lauren feeling badly about the bat goop said, "The poor bats!" -- Next year, if we're around, maybe we'll stick with Spaghetti!

Corinne with her spider rings!

Apple bobbing was a hit! The kids dug right in!

BOO!
